What was formerly the factory Grodås Møbler, with beautifully carved wooden furniture, has now utilized accumulated expertise in new business areas. Today, the factory exports rifle gunstocks to as many as 46 countries.
GRS Riflestocks made good use of the expertise they had accumulated for 30 years when they transformed their production to new products and new markets in 2011. "Our background as furniture producers is alfa and omega for the rifle gunstocks we make today," says the general manager, Oscar Haugen. He points at the knowledge within CNC and cost efficient solutions created from furniture production as key factors for the current work at GRS.
