«Strandaindustriens historie» (the industrial history of Stranda) is the name, and a board has been established with Reidar Lunde as chairman and Anders Adolfsson, Kjell Opsvik, Helge Søvik and Sveinung Ørjasæter as members.

Helge Søvik and Reidar Lunde have collected many goodies from the furniture industry for the planned exhibition, among others a documentary of the furniture production at Langlo. They have been promised the rental of a 2000-square-foot space in the P. I. building, which previously was the location of the sofa factory of Ekornes. The plan is to collect products from the industry to illustrate history: images and artwork, films, books, articles and more - from the first power station was put into operation at the river Storelva to the present and modern industrial production in Stranda.
